It feels like we are experiencing ever increasing levels of stress in our daily lives. Whilst stress is a natural part of life and helps to motivate us to be productive, if it is ongoing it can start to get on top of us and can become overwhelming. Stress can manifest in the body and lead to physical and emotional health problems.
Reflexology is a gentle, hands-on, holistic therapy that treats the whole person; mind, body and spirit. It promotes deep relaxation and this may help to reduce the negative effects of the stresses of modern life, which in turn may bring benefits for people suffering with health conditions.
I offer specially-tailored Foot, Facial and Lymph Drainage Reflexology treatments designed around your individual needs.
Clients often tell me that they sleep really well following a treatment and that they feel less tense and have more energy.
Whether you are looking for support with an existing health condition or want to reduce your day-to-day stress levels and are ready to prioritise your health and well-being, the only way to find out if reflexology will help you is to try it for yourself!

Reflexology is a gentle, hands-on, holistic, therapy which aims to treat the whole person, creating harmony in mind, body and spirit. Based on the theory that all the systems and organs of the body are mirrored in different points on the feet and hands and that by applying pressure to specific areas, reflexology encourages the body to naturally activate its own healing ability; aiding sleep, releasing tension, improving mood, promoting relaxation and overall wellbeing.
Facial Reflexology - The Bergman Method was developed by Ziggie Bergman, the UK's leading expert in facial reflexology. It is a deeply relaxing holistic therapy based on the same principles as foot reflexology, however the focus of this treatment is on the reflex points located on the face. It offers all the benefits of foot reflexology but with the unique benefit that not only can it help support your health and wellbeing, it can also give you a healthy, glowing complexion.
Reflexology Lymph Drainage is an award-winning reflexology technique which focuses on stimulating the lymphatic reflexes on the feet. It was initially researched and developed by Sally Kay to relieve the symptoms of secondary lymphoedema associated with breast cancer and it can also be helpful in the management of other conditions relating to the immune system.
Menopause is a natural process and every woman’s experience of it is unique. Many women find reflexology beneficial in supporting them through this natural transition in their lives. Reflexology encourages deep relaxation, helping to reduce stress, aiding sleep and improving your sense of wellbeing.
I discovered reflexology over 20 years ago when I was diagnosed with endometriosis and went to a reflexologist for support with the pain. I was so impressed and fascinated by the effects reflexology had on me both physically and emotionally that I wanted to explore it further and went on to train with the Aquarian School, Hertfordshire and qualified as a practitioner in 2000.
I work from a tranquil treatment room in my home located in Meikle Wartle, Aberdeenshire, easily accessible from Inverurie, Oldmeldrum, Insch, Rothienorman and surrounding areas.
I am a full member of the Association of Reflexologists which is what the initials 'MAR' after my name represents. I'm committed to continued professional development and keep up to date with new approaches.
